I recently started playing the Wildstar beta and I had a rather frustrating issue that kept occurring. When the game would show messages/tips in the middle of the screen I was not able to close them. I could not press the X to close out of them, so, I played for a while with blocks of text on the screen.
I did some reading around and it seems that a workaround for now would be to run the following command: /reloadui
It seems some people have resorted to creating a macro just to get rid of the stuck messages. Talk about weird bug… apparently this bug has been an ongoing thing for a while. Hope it is fixed by launch day!
