Here is a quick guide on how to get your drag and drop to work again. I am not sure why but my PC from time to time will forget how to drag and drop.
Steps to get drag and drop working
- Click on a file
- Press Esc key
- Drag your file to your new location
Yes… it is that easy! I don’t really know why it happens. But that always fixes it for me whenever it occurs. I have tested this in Windows 7. I have not seen it happen in Windows 8.1.
If anyone knows why this occurs and a permanent solution, I would be really interested in hearing about it.
